This is a dress I made for my brother's new baby. It is a pattern I love. One reason is because the edges are very finished. One modification I made on the pattern is to seam the sides from the low underarm to the beginning of the green border. Claire wore her dress from 2 months old up to this past winter at 19 months old as a sweater vest.
I used Baby Bunny by Plymouth. The color palette in Baby Bunny reminds me of the watercolor illustrations in the Peter Rabbit books. It has a bit of angora in it that makes it very soft. It is also machine washable, which I really wanted for the ease of the new mother.
